The CW’s “The Flash” has become one of its most popular shows since its premiere in 2014. Starring Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, the superhero first appeared on “Arrow” before getting its own spinoff. Now in its third season, Screen Junkies’ latest Honest Trailer installment pokes fun at the  first two seasons of the Scarlet Speedster.

“When ‘Arrow’ started taking itself way too seriously it was time to dust off one of DC’s campiest superheroes for a spinoff that combines the most ridiculous stuff in the comics with soap opera drama,” states the voiceover.

The trailer breaks down the storyline, introduces the characters and the wacky villains. Calling it “a show that really shouldn’t work but somehow ended up being super fun,” Screen Junkies admit that they are definitely fans of the series.

“Strap in for a fast-moving first season that expertly balances villains of the week with a season-long storyline that will make you and Kevin Smith cry like babies,” details the voiceover. “Then gear up for Season 2 that ups the ante with multiple earths, doppelgängers, alternate timelines and even more opportunities to cry like babies.”

The video also highlights Barry’s undying love for his adopted sister, the S.T.A.R. Labs, which can “create anything the plot requires,” and asks what happens to the villains after they are captured and detained in the prison-like cells.

Starring “air guns, recycled running, power puns, ugly cries” and much more, watch “The Flash” Honest Trailer below.
