John Cleese has four important rules for watching “The Walking Dead” and one of them includes “there are no safe places.” The Monty Python co-founder wonderfully recaps the first six seasons of the hit AMC series in NOW TV’s video “John Cleese talks The Walk(ing Dead).”
“Season 7 of ‘The Walking Dead’ is on the way, which I’m sure you already know,” he begins, “unless you’ve been living under a rock, hiding under a tank, or being held captive by a nutter with a baseball bat called Lucille. But I’m getting ahead of myself.”
In the recap he describes Rick as a “Clint Eastwood but a bit more sensitive,” Michonne as “Uma Thurman in ‘Kill Bill,’ but with an unsettling fondness for exotic pets” and gives the town of Woodbury one star out of four on TripAdvisor.
After four minutes of taking fans down memory lane, Cleese in his soothing British accents asks, “But who will survive Negan’s bloody beating and incessant rhyming? You’ll have to watch Season 7 to find out.”
“The Walking Dead” return this Sunday, October 23 at 9 p.m. on AMC. Check out the hilarious recap below.
