Since winning the Silver Bear for Best Director at this year’s Berlin Film Festival, filmmaker Mia Hansen-Løve’s latest film, “Things To Come,” has only continued to garner critical acclaim for its authentic feel, layered characters and outstanding performances, particularly from Isabelle Huppert in the lead role.
The film follows Nathalie (Huppert), a philosophy professor, as her life crumbles before her eyes. In short order, she must learn how to make sense of her mother’s death, a cheating husband and losing her beloved job. As she moves towards a very uncertain future, Nathalie begins to discover that her life — and her dreams — might not be done just yet.

”Things to Come” is coming off a strong festival run, screening at Telluride, Toronto and this month’s New York Film Festival. It will hit wide release on December 2. Check out the film’s latest trailer below.
