Triumph The Insult Comic Dog Asks Libertarian Candidate Gary Johnson ‘Hard-Hitting’ Questions

Johnson expresses his fear of being followed by the Secret Service.

With most of the election-day attention attention focused on Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog doesn’t want America to forget about Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson.

In a new video for his Hulu special, “Triumph’s Election Watch 2016,” the cigar-smoking, foul-mouthed puppet sat down with Johnson to ask him some hard-hitting questions.

“When you’re about to get on stage at your rallies, how often does your security team ask to see your identification?” was Triumph’s first question. “Never,” replied Johnson, adding that he doesn’t have security.

When asked if he thinks he would get some if he was part of the presidential debate he responded, “There may be, but that’s one of the things that I fear about this whole process. How that might adversely affect my life, the whole secret service thing.”

“So you’re running for president but you’re terrified of winning,” laughed Triumph. “I would keep that quiet.”

Their conversation continues with Johnson expressing that he firmly believes he could win the election without doing the first presidential debate. They also discuss him wanting to legalize marijuana and his plan to win votes.
