Prepared to be enchanted by the new images for the live-action remake of “Beauty and the Beast,” released by Entertainment Weekly.
Featuring Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as the Beast, the new cover of the magazine features the duo in the famous ballroom scene. Watson is seen wearing the iconic yellow dress, created by costume designer Jacqueline Durran, while Stevens is in Beast form, donning a blue dress coat.
Eight additional images were also released by the publication, which feature a standalone picture of Watson in the yellow ballgown and another with her regular blue dress. Luke Evans as Gaston is also seen with his trusty sidekick Le Fou, portrayed by Josh Gad, and another picture shows Watson getting direction from the film’s director, Bill Condon. The remake also includes Ewan McGregor as the voice of Lumière, Sir Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette. The first teaser trailer was released back in May and gave fans a teensy glimpse at Watson as Belle.
The “Harry Potter” alum also told EW how excited she was about being a part of the film saying, “I can’t even think how many times I watched it as a child. I knew all the words by heart. I knew all the songs by heart.”
“Beauty and the Beast” arrives in theaters on March 17, 2017.
