In this Indiewire exclusive clip from the upcoming episode of BBC America’s “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency,” we find Todd (Elijah Wood) getting the bad cop/bad cop shakedown from detectives Estevez (Neil Brown Jr.) and Zimmerfield (Richard Schiff).
The detective duo seems to know all there is to know about his sister’s illness, the fallout with his band, and his suspicious presence at not one but three active crime scenes. And Todd just digs himself in deeper when he tries to come to his own defense. The clip ends with him sitting speechless, getting hard looks from the inquisitive detectives, and smack in the middle of maybe more trouble than he can manage.
Based on the “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency” novel series written by Douglas Adams, the series from BBC America centers on the holistic detective Dirk Gently (Samuel Barnett) and his Watson-like sidekick Todd who investigate cases involving the supernatural.
