Fans of “Doctor Who” have been waiting for more of the beloved BBC America series since last year’s Christmas Special. To get viewers excited for the upcoming “Doctor Who” Christmas Special, “The Return of Doctor Mysterio,” the network released a new clip as part of BBC One’s telethon for Children in Need.

The video features Peter Capaldi with an investigative journalist (Charity Wakefield) as they go in search of a new villain, portrayed by Aleksandar Jovanovic. The three-minute clip also features the return of Matt Lucas as Nardole and introduces viewers to Justin Chatwin as superhero Grant.

The episode will follow The Doctor as he teams up with Wakefield and Chatwin to save New York from a deadly alien invasion.
