As anyone who’s spent time in Stars Hollow is surely aware by now, “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” is just days away. Netflix has released a new trailer for the show, which the streaming platform is bringing back for a limited run nearly a full decade after the beloved dramedy’s seven-season run first ended. This new spot puts the focus on the Gilmore Girls themselves: Lorelai and Rory, the mother-daughter duo whose dynamic serves as the show’s emotional foundation. “A Year in the Life” finds Rory returning to her hometown after an extended stay in Brooklyn. The show will consist of four 90-minute episodes, with each one corresponding to roughly one season of the year in Stars Hollow.
All four parts of “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” are available to stream on Netflix beginning this Friday, November 25, the day after Thanksgiving.
