The FXX series “You’re The Worst” closed out its third season this past Wednesday, which means that fans of FX’s original programming will have to wait until January for new premieres. Both FX and FXX will debut new seasons of “Man Seeking Woman,” “Baskets” and of course, the longest-running series on the network “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” The series will return for a 12th season that will feature, among many other things, a musical episode and a guest appearance by Scott Bakula, best known for starring in the sci-fi series “Quantum Leap.” Watch a red-band trailer for the new season below featuring the gang getting into some NSFW shenanigans.
“It’s Always Sunny” first premiered in August, 2005 on FX. The series follows the various exploits of “The Gang,” a group of self-centered, narcissistic friends who run Irish bar Paddy’s Pub in South Philadelphia. It was created by Rob McElhenney and stars Glenn Howerton (“Fargo”), McElhenney (“The Mindy Project”), Charlie Day (“Horrible Bosses”), Kaitlin Olson (“The Mick”), and Danny DeVito (“Taxi”). The series moved to FXX in 2013 at the start of its ninth season. FXX has already renewed the series for a 13th and 14th season.
