One week after Trump won the presidency, civilians and late-night hosts alike are struggling with the prospect of a Trump presidency as well as finding who to blame for Clinton’s loss. Some throw the blame at Clinton’s feet, other’s at Bernie, or FBI director James Comey, or even WikiLeaks. And some throw it at the feet of former “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart, evidenced by the TV Line headline “If Jon Stewart Had Not Stepped Down From ‘The Daily Show,’ Hillary Clinton Would Most Likely Be President.”

On last night’s episode of “Full Frontal,” host Samantha Bee playfully alluded to the headline, saying that “we all know who’s fault it is: the Jews!” But by the end of the episode, Stewart himself makes a cameo singing a song and coloring a turkey on the steps outside, clearly trying to escape election grief. He admits he’s “turned into quite an odd person.” Watch the brief cameo below.
Stewart has a new animated project in the works at HBO that’s likely to debut sometime in the first quarter of 2017, according to HBO programming president Casey Bloys. Stewart plans to produce a series of animated shorts that will be online almost immediately after news arrives that will later be collected into a half-hour version to air on the linear HBO channel.
“Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” airs Monday nights at 10:30 p.m. ET only on TBS.
