The skilled young actress Millie Bobby Brown will reprise her role as Eleven in the second season of Netflix’s hit series “Stranger Things.” The show, which premiered over the summer, quickly became a pop-culture phenomenon, with Brown’s supernatural character emerging as a fan favorite.
Though Netflix has not yet commented on this development, sources told TVLine that Brown will indeed return. This confirmation will likely come as a relief for fans, as Eleven’s return seemed ambiguous. Brown returns to a cast which recently added another talented young actress, Sadie Sink.

The highly anticipated second season, which will consist of nine episodes and premiere sometime in 2017, will be set in 1984 — two years after the events of the first season.
