After their successful, influential TV show “Monty Python’s Flying Circus,” five feature films and a series of reunions, the comedy troupe Monty Python is still going strong, showing up in places people never quite expect. Case in point: last night, former Python members John Cleese and Eric Idle were guests on “Conan” and premiered their new song “Fuck Selfies,” about their frustrations regarding people who request selfies with them on tour, which they describe as “one from the heart.” Watch Idle sing the song below.

After Idle sings the song, in which he rhymes “gits” with “tits” and requests selfie sticks to be shoved up rectums, he, Cleese and Conan have a conversation about the awkwardness of strangers asking them for pictures. “I think it’s so strange that a complete stranger would walk up to you and say, ‘Can I have a photograph with you?'” says Cleese. “And I often say, ‘No, but why don’t you ask the chap over there.'” Conan also discussed how oftentimes a few members of a group will ask him for a photograph and then one will decline, leaving the talk show host devastated by a stranger’s indifference.
