Like other streaming services out there, Hulu has beefed up its original programming lineup with acclaimed shows like “Casual,” “Difficult People” and “The Path.” Now, Hulu will soon debut another new original series “Shut Eye,” which follows the world of Los Angeles storefront psychics. The series stars Jeffrey Donovan (“Burn Notice”) as Charlie Haverford, a con man psychic whose worldview is rocked when he begins having real visions. The series also stars KaDee Strickland (“Private Practice”), Emmanuelle Chriqui (“Entourage”), Isabella Rossellini (“Blue Velvet”), Susan Misner (“The Americans”), David Zayas (“Oz”) and Angus Sampson (“Fargo”). Check out an exclusive poster for the series below.

The series is created by Les Bohem (“Dante’s Peak”) and is executive produced by Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein, both former producers on “Breaking Bad.” David Hudgins (“Friday Night Lights”) will act as the series’ showrunner.

“I thought, ‘What if a fake psychic became a real psychic?'” Bohem told The Hollywood Reporter in August. “I loved the idea but had no idea where to set it…I walked into a parlor in my neighborhood and had my palm read and started to notice there was one on every block. There’s one three blocks from [the Beverly Hilton] in Beverly Hills and they can’t possibly be making rent on a $40 reading.”
