Season 3 of “The Affair” doesn’t premiere until November 20, but Showtime is giving viewers a chance to watch the first episode ahead of its debut.
Starting today, Showtime subscribers will be able to view the Golden Globe-winning series’ premiere on Showtime on Demand, Showtime Anytime and showtime.com. For those who don’t subscribe to the cable network, you can watch the TV-14 rated version for free now on YouTube (below) and SHO.com. The episode is also available for download as a free video podcast on iTunes.
The third season picks up three years after Noah (Dominic West) admitted being responsible for Scott’s death. The first episode is told from his perspective as he attempts to restart his life. He soon finds that it’s harder than he imagined, but thanks to his new love interest, Juliette Le Gall (Irène Jacob), she helps him process the trauma from his past.
Additionally, immediately following the third season premiere on-air, Showtime will make the second episode available early only to subscribers starting at 11 p.m. ET. Episode 2 offers viewers a more comprehensive picture of the season ahead, providing additional perspectives from Alison (Ruth Wilson) and Helen (Maura Tierney).
The third season of “The Affair” officially returns Sunday, November 20 on Showtime.
