‘The Book of Love’ Trailer: Maisie Williams Sets Out for the Deep Blue Sea

The film is due in theaters early next year.

When last we saw Maisie Williams, she was providing some much-needed fan service by offing an especially despicable character on “Game of Thrones.” A girl has both a name and a mission in “The Book of Love,” a new film co-starring Jason Sudeikis and Jessica Biel. Watch its first trailer below courtesy of ET Online.

Formerly known as “The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea,” the film takes place in post-Katrina New Orleans and stars Williams as a homeless girl who aspires to sail across the sea on a raft. Sudeikis’ character, a well-to-do architect, sets about helping her on that quixotic journey at the behest of his wife (Biel).

Bill Purple co-wrote and directed “The Book of Love,” which also features Mary Steenburgen, Paul Reiser and Orlando Jones. The film, which premiered at Tribeca earlier this year, is due in theaters on January 13, 2017.
