Set to Miguel’s sensual cover of Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love,” the latest “Fifty Shades Darker” trailer features new scenes of the twosome arousing one another in titillating ways while at dinner and in an elevator. The clip also includes scenes from the novel’s masquerade ball, the helicopter crash and Anastasia being haunted by Grey’s ex-lover, portrayed by an unrecognizable Bella Heathcote.
Adapted from E. L. James’ best-selling book series, the second film is directed by “Perfect Stranger” helmer James Foley, who will also direct the third followup, “Fifty Shades Freed.” Additional co-stars include Kim Basinger, Rita Ora, Marcia Gay Harden, Luke Grimes, Eloise Mumford, Max Martini and Hugh Dancy.
While “Fifty Shades of Grey” received generally unfavorable reviews, the movie was a box office success, bringing in $571 million worldwide. The stakes might be even higher for the sequel, which will arrive in theaters on February 10, 2017.
