The Season 9 trailer for “Curb Your Enthusiasm” is finally here, and it was definitely worth the wait. After months of chatter, HBO has not only confirmed a new season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” they’ve given fan a release date as well as a full trailer, timed with the show’s appearance at the Television Critics Association press tour this summer.

The Emmy-award winning series follows Larry David playing a semi-fictionalized version of himself as he lives his life as a semi-retired television writer and producer in Los Angeles and New York City. With a plethora of hilarious characters that surround David’s character, laughs aren’t hard to come by in this HBO classic.

The preview below gives a glimpse of the many guest stars on the show, including Bryan Cranston, who may be Larry’s only fan, but that may be because he’s his therapist. Also look out for Carrie Brownstein, Andrea Savage and returning favorite Richard Lewis.

The timeless comedy returns after a six year gap that left fans starving for more. Viewers have been wondering what became of Larry after he fled to Paris to avoid fulfilling his obligation to spend time with some sick children at the end of Season 8, and it looks like we’re finally going to find out.

Season 9 of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” brings back back many familiar faces including Chris Williams, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Susie Essman, J.B. Smoove, and even Cheryl Hines. The series will also introduce some new faces to the “Curb” crew, such as “Gilmore Girls’” Lauren Graham.

“Curb Your Enthusiasm” Season 9 premieres Sunday, Oct. 1 at 10 p.m. on HBO.
