Oscars: Jennifer Lawrence and Jodie Foster to Replace Casey Affleck as Presenters

Following the news that Casey Affleck will not be presenting this year’s Oscar for Best Actress, Variety reports that the actor will be replaced by Jennifer Lawrence and Jodie Foster. Tradition dictates that the previous year’s Best Actor winner present the award, but Affleck, who has faced controversy over sexual harassment accusations, stepped down in late January.

That isn’t the only change, as Emma Stone shan’t be presenting Best Actor; she’ll be replaced by Jane Fonda and Helen Mirren. All four new presenters are Oscar winners themselves: Lawrence for “Silver Linings Playbook,” Foster for “The Accused” and “The Silence of the Lambs,” Fonda for “Coming Home,” and Mirren for “The Queen.”

The ceremony takes place tomorrow night. Here’s the full list of announced presenters:
