If the Oscars represent Hollywood’s biggest night, then the Film Independent Spirit Awards might as well be the indie film community’s biggest afternoon. Each year, members of the Los Angeles film non-profit Film Independent vote for the greatest achievements in indie film, and the awards are given out the day before the Oscars. So here we are for the 33rd Indie Spirit Awards, hosted by Nick Kroll and John Mulaney.

“Get Out,” “Call Me by Your Name,” “Lady Bird,” “Good Time,” and more have dominated this year’s slate of nominees. Over the last several years, the Indie Spirits have become both a champion of underdog indies and a key indicator in which films and performances could end up with the Oscar. See the full list of nominees here.

This year, the IFC network will once again be broadcasting the show live beginning at 5pm ET. If you won’t be around a television, you can log in directly to the IFC channel live stream using your cable provider information. Additionally, Sundance Now members can watch a live broadcast feed as well. You can also sign up for a free seven day Sundance Now trial if you’re not a member. You can also watch the show via Facebook Watch, where during the live show’s commercial breaks celebrity “VIP-Pee” interviews will be held outside the venue’s backstage bathrooms. Facebook Watch is available for free on mobile apps across Apple and Android, on desktop, laptop and on TV apps listed here.
