Television’s biggest night has arrived. The 2018 Emmy Awards are set to air tonight at 8pm ET on NBC. This year’s ceremony is hosted by Colin Jost and Michel Che, the comedian duo who anchor “Weekend Update” on “Saturday Night Live.” NBC is airing the Emmys live on both coasts this year.
Any viewer who has a television provider login will be able to access the 2018 Emmy Awards online via live stream. Viewers can log in using their information right on the NBC Live website or on the NBC app. The awards ceremony will also live stream through subscription-based TV streaming services such as Hulu, DirecTV Now, Philo TV, and SlingTV.
The official red carpet, presented by E! News, will begin airing at 6pm ET. You can live stream the pre-show festivities using the People TV app or by watching on People.com and/or EW.com.
This year’s Emmys feature the return of “Game of Thrones” to the drama category races after the HBO series sat last year out. The blockbuster fantasy show will be going up against “The Handmaid’s Tale” for best drama, one of the night’s biggest battles. The comedy category finds Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” going up against fellow newcomer “Barry” and FX’s celebrated “Atlanta.”
The 2018 Emmy Awards air 8pm ET on NBC.
