The 2022 Screen Actors Guild Award nominations are upon us, with the annual event doling out its 28th annual prizes. The nominations were announced on Wednesday morning via SAG’s Instagram page by Rosario Dawson and Vanessa Hudgens.

The SAG Awards take place February 27 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, simulcast live on both TNT and TBS from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. Last year’s presentation was shrunk down to an hour-long event broadcast in April, whereas this year the Guild plans to return to its fully in-person festivities for the full ceremony.

Last year’s SAG Award nominations were dominated by the likes of “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom,” “Minari,” “The Trial of the Chicago 7,” “One Night in Miami,” and “Da 5 Bloods” in the top film categories. On the TV side, “Better Call Saul,” “Bridgerton,” “The Crown,” “Ozark,” and “Lovecraft Country” led the field.
