Robert Koehler is a film critic for Variety, Cinema Scope, Cineaste,, The Christian Science Monitor and the LA Weekly. He is a member of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association and FIPRESCI. He has contributed chapters to the books "On Film Festivals" (Richard Porton, ed.) and "Cine Argentino 99/08" (Marcelo Panozzo, ed.). He served as Director of Programming for AFI Fest in 2009.
