‘Citizenfour,’ ‘Time of Death’ Honored at IDA Documentary Awards

The International Documentary Association has announced the winners of their 30th annual IDA Documentary Awards. In the ceremony hosted by Carol Leifer, Laura Poitras was the big winner receiving the Best Feature Award for her Edward Snowden documentary “Citizenfour.” Other notable recipients include Showtime’s “Time of Death” for Best Limited Series, “Tashi and the Monk” for Best Short and Robert Redford for a Career Achievement Award. 

The International Documentary Association is a nonprofit dedicated to providing resources and creating a community for documentary artists. For thirty years, the IDA Documentary Awards have been a way for them to honor and promote the world’s best documentary filmmaking. You can read the full list of this year’s recipients below:
