Tweetable Logline:

We hold on to the idea that there is a right way to say goodbye. “Empyrean” is a short film about the grace in letting go.

Elevator Pitch:

We’ve got all the right ingredients to make movie magic — amazing script inspired by a true story, talented people, an amazing location, a series of fortuitous events — all we need is money. It’s “Tree of Life” meets “Away From Her”…in 25 minutes or less.

About the Production:

This script was inspired by the loss of my father. He was a man who embodied “actions speak louder than words.” I am able to accept his death because he lived his life well. He taught me how to love movies and be an idealist. I want to make movies, so I’m making a movie.

Current Status:

Pre-production. We start shooting January 4th.
