Logline: Diane, a transgender pagan priestess is in the midst of battling her own demons when Tex, an enigmatic sociopath starts to stalk her.
Elevator Pitch:
Diane, played by Mya Taylor, is a transgender pagan priestess, living in the aftermath of a hurtful breakup. As she struggles with self-acceptance, alcoholism, and recovering from her separation, Tex a mysterious stalker confronts her. He is quick to assert that Diane is “not a real woman,” preventing her from focusing on her actual issues.
As with any person, the path to self-acceptance is full of little victories and intense losses. This story depicts a battle between a confident woman and her fears, a battle that is not won in a single moment, but through a sustained effort each day.

About the Film:
We lived with our friend Raven in the midst of her transition. She is the inspiration of the film. She assisted us with writing, revealing some of the horrors transgender women face, including harassment, violence, and stalkers. The story addresses these external threats and the internal processing in one’s struggle to live an authentic life.
Our goal is to increase transgender visibility through a compelling short film. Ultimately, we will use this short to garner the attention and accolades necessary to make “Diane” into a feature.
