Here’s your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you’ll have the chance to vote for your favorite.

In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.

“Land of the Little People”

Tweetable Logline:
Four young children who clash in a violent fight against two army deserters that made the mistake of seeking refuge in the kid’s camp.

Elevator Pitch:
Four young kids who live in a village of military officers families, form a small gang. An old abandoned army base, located in the surrounding fields, turns into their camp. A war begins and most men are drafted. When the kids return to their camp they discover two soldiers who deserted their units, using their camp as a hideout. Ruthless struggle develops between the groups, and the soldiers, who sought refuge from the war outside, find themselves in another war, which turns to be as dangerous and bloody.

About the Production:
As a child I used to play with my friends within the barriers of an abandoned military camp. That captivating place gave us the feeling of living in a wild world that we could rule. This tale is about the Israeli children, who grow up in a militant society, with war always in the background. These children come to know only aggressive solutions to their problems.

Current Status: Shooting is scheduled to July 2014. We seek for further funding to make the film bigger and better.
