“20 Years of Madness”

Tweetable Logline:

Bizarre yet lovable 90’s public access TV show cast reunites after 20 years to film a new show- reconciliation, hilarity, madness ensues!

Elevator Pitch:

They were outcasts in high school- artists- weirdos- who had a very unique outlet for their creativity in high school- their very own public access television show- 30 minutes of madness. It was off the wall- out of left field- the sort of random skits, improv and videos that would go on to become youtube- and now, after 20 years apart, the guys are getting back together- some who went on to Hollywood- and others who remained in Michigan- will all be living together, collaborating together, working out past wrongs and finding new creative inspiration for a monumental new episode.

Production Team:

Director: Jeremy Royce

Producers: Jerry White, Jr., Lindsey Villarreal, Michael Newman
Cinematographer: Will Jobe

Editors: Paul Gleason & Faroukh Virani

About the Production:

“This is an immensely personal project looking back on a different period in history- a time before youtube- when launching a public access TV show was nothing short of a minor miracle. 20 years later, we’re interested in examining how idealistic teenage dreams intersect with reality- and we’re excited to be documenting the group’s journey- how their friendships have evolved as half moved to Hollywood to pursue creative careers, how their process will change or stay the same with more film experience and how they’ll attempt to bridge past differences in an effort to make the best show yet.” — Michael Newman

Current Status:

In production.
