The Republican National Convention is making headlines left and right this week, thanks to Donald Trump’s official nomination as the GOP’s presidential candidate and his wife Melania’s alleged plagiarism scandal. Stephen Colbert, James Corden and a number of other late-night hosts have wasted no time riffing on the most ridiculous RNC moments, but they’re not the only comedians getting in on the action.
At a rally for notorious conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, comedian Eric André took to the stage to disrupt the discussion. When Jones mistook him for a “Daily Show” correspondent, André responded that he’s “on MySpace.” After a brief attempt to discuss Jones’ 9/11 theories, André left the stage. Comedian Tim Heidecker also trolled Jones, doing his best impersonation of the host during an on-the-street Infowars broadcast.
Triumph the Insult Comic dog is also in attendance at the RNC for taping of his “Triumph’s Election Special,” which will air on Hulu in August. The puppet was spotted photobombing an MSNBC broadcast after Melania Trump’s speech.
Check out Triumph’s photobomb and the video of André’s act below.
