With the “Gilmore Girls” revival just a few weeks away, series creator/executive producer Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Dan Palladino made an appearance at Entertainment Weekly’s PopFest yesterday to discuss what awaits fans of the beloved dramedy. Perhaps more excitingly for those longing to return to Stars Hollow, the two Palladinos shared six clips from the four-part miniseries, which is coming to Netflix next month.

One of them finds Rory (Alexis Bledel) returning home from Brooklyn and joking that “Lena Dunham’s just going to have to get along without me,” while another centers around Luke (Scott Patterson) and Emily (Kelly Bishop) discussing the former’s will: “If you go first, and your affairs aren’t in order,” she tells him, “it all comes crashing down on my daughter’s head.” “Gilmore Girls” ran for eight seasons between 2000 and 2007; this new batch will consist of four 90-minute episodes. Most of the main cast will be returning, with the unfortunate exception of Edward Herrmann, who died on the last day of 2014.

“Can I just say, there is nothing more comfortable than sitting up here while other people watch your work,” Sherman-Palladino joked after showing the footage to everyone in attendance. “Something at Gitmo, maybe, might be a little more delightful?” “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” is available to stream on Netflix beginning November 25.
