‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Official Trailer: Marvel’s Superhero Epic Teases Possible Deaths
It’s the event Marvel fans have been waiting for ever since the MCU kicked off with 2008’s “Iron Man”: The Infinity War. Now, ten years later, every breadcrumb hidden in every single Marvel movie will culminate into one epic battle. Thanos, last seen in “Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2.,” is on a quest to collect all six Infinity Stones, powerful artifacts that will allow him to yield the Infinity Gauntlet and control the destiny of the entire universe.
As for the The Avengers, they disbanded following the rift between Captain America and Iron Man that took place in “Captain America: Civil War,” but the superheroes will have to put aside their differences and reunite to take down Thanos. But they’re not alone in their quest, and friends like Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Valkyrie and others (maybe Loki?) are also assembling to take on their biggest foe yet, Thanos.
Will we say goodbye to Iron Man and Captain America for good? Will Captain Marvel finally make her MCU debut? We’ll have to wait until April 27 to find out.
