Some small screen additions to one show that’s making a comeback, another show riding high off a massive successful first season and one program headed into its last season… read on….

The Silver Fox aka John Slattery has blown minds and joined the currently filming fourth season of “Arrested Development.” That’s right, Roger Sterling and Michael Bluth, together at long last. Of course, his role on the show is being kept under wraps, but generally speaking, Mitch Hurwitz and co. have usually been nothing short of inspired in their use of guest stars, which in the first three seasons included Carl Weathers, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Charlize Theron, Judge Reinhold, Scott Baio and more. So whatever it is, it will probably be awesome. “Arrested Development” drops on Netflix in 2013.

Meanwhile, with Lena Dunham working away on the second season of “Girls” which will start airing in January, Bob Balaban has hit Twitter to reveal: “I get to be the wondrous @lenadunham ‘s psychiatrist on #Girls tomorrow and I don’t even have a license! Please don’t tell.” He joins Patrick Wilson as a new addition to the cast, and already Dunham has been savvy in casting supporting spots with Kathryn Hahn, James LeGros and Chris O’Dowd popping up in season one (though we’re really wondering if the latter returns in season two). Just a few more months to go until more “Girls” and it’s already quite promising.

Lastly, Natasha Lyonne continues her comeback circuit, booking a part on the secret two-part, series finale of “Weeds.” That’s right, the pot comedy will call it a night after the eighth season. Get ready to say goodbye starting September 16th, but you can look out for Lyonne in the upcoming “Imogene” with Kristen Wiig. [TV Line/Yahoo]
