Whether it’s the new “Ghostbusters” reboot or “The Conjuring 2,” paranormal investigators have had quite good a good year. But paranormal activity isn’t relegated to the franchise by the same name or even just feature films, it also exists in our web series’. The new YouTube Red animated series “The Paranormal Action Squad” follows two paranormal enthusiasts and their enthusiastic neighbor on their mission to uncover the mysteries of the ghostly universe. The series stars video game commentators SeaNanners, an alias for Adam Montoya, TheMrSark, aka Scott Robinson, and VanossGaming, aka Evan Fong. Watch an exclusive clip from the third episode below.

The series was created and written by Michael Rowe. He’s a TV writer best known for working on shows like “Coach,” “Becker,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and “Family Guy.” He won an Emmy in 2011 for working on Matt Groening’s “Futurama,” for which he wrote seven episodes total from 2011 through 2013. He has previously been nominated for five other Emmys.
This is YouTube Red’s 12th original series and first animated series. YouTube Red is a paid membership that gives you an enhanced, uninterrupted experience across YouTube, YouTube Music, and YouTube Gaming. It is currently available in the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Mexico, with plans for additional international expansion next year.

The first two episodes of “Paranormal Action Squad” are available to watch now. The first episode is free while the second episode, and the six other subsequent episodes in the series, are available only on YouTube Red. The third episode will drop Tuesday, November 22.
