‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ Final Trailer: Felicity Jones and Darth Vader Go To War In Most Thrilling Preview Yet
Among the many spinoffs that will be released in the coming months, none are as anticipated as “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” The first “Star Wars” standalone film promises to take fans on an all-new epic adventure, and if it’s anything like what we see in the new trailer, sign us up!
The Gareth Edwards-directed action film centers around Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), leader of a group of unlikely heroes who band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star. The story takes place shortly before the events of “A New Hope” and is a key event in the “Star Wars” timeline.
The movie features an all-star cast including Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker.
Fans got a sneak peek at these new characters, including a Darth Vader tease, back in August when the first trailer was released. This second look is once again filled with plenty of action sequences, a deeper look into our new heroine’s life, as well as the ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
