The 2016 election has taken over the news for most of the year, but it has reached a fever pitch for the GOP with the Republican National Convention, which is either a triumph or an unmitigated disaster depending on whom you ask. Naturally, comedians of all stripes have made their way to the convention to cover the Republican mania as they wait for Donald Trump to make his highly anticipated appearance, and that includes “Saturday Night Live’s” Weekend Update team, which has been doing special reports all this week. One of their segments involved host Michael Che parodying the popular augmented-reality game Pokémon Go by searching for minorities on the RNC convention floor using “Trumpemon Go.”

The segment proceeds as expected, with Che finding it difficult to locate any minorities on the floor. He eventually spots a few, such as Old Black Dude, Asian Man, and Black Man With Selfie Stick. He tries to capture “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson, but he’s disappointed that an “Amish dude” doesn’t count as a minority. Eventually, he asks someone on the floor if they knew who he was and they said, “Jay Pharoah.” Watch the segment below.
“Saturday Night Live” will return for its 42nd season sometime in the fall of 2016.
