Netflix’s “Stranger Things” quickly turned into a must-watch TV phenomenon. During the show’s red carpet premiere for the series, the cast was pranked during one particular interview.

Series directors Matt and Ross Duffer, along with stars Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalie Dyer, Joe Keery, Peyton Wich, and Cade Jones, were interviewed in groups and asked if they could describe the show in one word. As they all took turns answering, the cast and producers were interrupted by eerie incidents such as white noise from an unplugged radio and flickering lights.

As a the actors explained how these situations would happen in the show, all of a sudden a picture fell off the wall – and their reactions were priceless. Things got even spookier when an ottoman slid across the floor and Brown, who portrays Eleven, jumped up and towards the door.

Watch the cast’s reactions in the video below. “Stranger Things” is currently available to stream on Netflix.
