The Simpsons” may have been on the air for 27 seasons, but they’re still fighting to keep up with today’s pop culture crazes. As seen in a new clip, the FOX show is the latest to hop on the “Pokemon Go” bandwagon.

In the video, Homer and the kids take a trip to the zoo, but while Lisa and Bart are happy to admire the lions and giraffes, Homer is more concerned with Bulbasaur and Charmander. His distraction doesn’t go over well with the kids, causing another cheeky nod to current events as Bart makes his way into the lions’ enclosure.

“Pokemon Go” has been taking over the world lately, with businesses like Yelp adding “Pokemon”-friendly features to their app and a live-action movie already in the works. Only time will tell as to whether the game is just a fleeting pop culture trend, or whether it may have changed how people play video games forever. For now, though, Homer seems to be a big fan — and who can blame him?
