“If you can’t beat them, join them” is a classic saying, but it’s no help when dealing with apocalyptic horseman/presidential candidate Donald Trump. Fortunately, Funny or Die had a different approach for handling Trump’s upcoming “Saturday Night Live” hosting stint. Turns out, if you can’t beat him, have George Lopez play him as noteable egg “Humpty Trumpty” on a fictional Mexican “SNL.” Then, when Trumpty inevitably falls, beat him and turn him into huevos rancheros. Do not eat those huevos rancheros because they probably taste racist.
In the Funny or Die video, Lopez plays “Mexican Donald Trump” Donaldo Trumpez as he hosts “Noche de Sabado en Vivo.” The sketch sings the sad story of Humpty Trumpty as he falls (in the polls) and must look to Benjamin Carsonitas and to his own id for answers.
