On Tuesday night’s “The Daily Show,” Trevor Noah finally tackled Starbucks’ removal of the Christmas design from their holiday cups, a controversy that has everyone up in arms — just so long as you define everyone as one insincere guy on the internet and whatever it is you call Donald Trump.
After a random click bait king started the firestorm online, Trump picked up the bonkers baton, proposing a Starbucks boycott despite supposedly having “one of the most successful Starbucks” in Trump Tower. Trump valiantly insists that he is “speaking against himself,” raising the philosophical question, “Does a moment of truth count if it occurs accidentally?”
After Trump promises a presidency in which “We’re all going to be saying ‘Merry Christmas,'” Noah compares the events to the “most backwards Christmas movie ever.” Come for the faux outrage, stay for atheist Tiny Tim and check out the clip above.
