IndieWire’s Consider This FYC Brunch returned after a three-year hiatus with an event honoring the best performers and crafts artists working in television today. During the past few years of pandemic-induced remote work, some of the industry’s top creators never even met each other as they collaborated. But today, they were able to gather in person to celebrate the shows they made together.
With a focus on the upcoming Emmy race, the event featured panels from five of television’s top shows. Thanks to Amazon Prime Video for sharing Outer Range, Apple TV+ for Pachinko, HBO Max for The Staircase, Showtime for Yellowjackets, and Hulu for Pam & Tommy. Panelists included a mixture of on camera talent and behind-the-scenes creatives, which led to fruitful conversations about the way actors and designers influence each other’s work.
