It’s months like July 2020 that prove that the TV spigot is never really turned off. Regardless of the current state of TV production, there’s no shortage of new series arriving on American platforms in the coming weeks.
As networks and streamers reach for new programming amidst a production freeze, a number of these new series premiered in other countries within the last year — but are now making their bows stateside. Other shows are looking to find an audience as the normal post-Emmy eligibility push takes a slightly different shape. And if that wasn’t enough to make this a month unlikely any other, July also brings the arrival of a new streaming service, with a handful of Peacock originals to consider.
Regardless of what may end up in your regular rotation and what may fall through the cracks, we’ve included premiere dates and network info for all the series below. (And, as always, in case you’ve missed any of our past monthly roundups, you can find past editions for February, March, April, May, and June.)
