The Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) has announced their 9th annual International Financing Forum (IFF), a two-day event designed to bring producers together. It will be held during the Toronto International Film Festival.
IFF is a special market for international and Canadian producers who are looking to network and collaborate. The event also includes opportunities to meet with film industry executives, sales agents, financiers and distributors. Within IFF, some of the scheduled programs include one-on-one meetings with producers, a luncheon dedicated to networking and an opening night reception.
Since 2006, IFF has financed over 60 film projects. Most recently OMDC has financed Denis Villeneuve’s “Enemy” and “Prisoners.” This year, 19 international producers and 21 Canadian producers have been selected to partake.
The Toronto International Film Festival will take place from September 7-8. Check out the IFF site here for more information.
