Starring the eternally cool Jean-Paul Belmondo and Anna Karina, the story follows two youths on the run through the south of France, with Godard’s movie mixing post-modern attitude, Pop art sensibilities, gorgeous visuals and improvised dialogue, and much more. It’s a true treasure that’s vital and refreshing today, and one that’s best experienced on the big screen.
