“Lord Jones Is Dead” follows rival journalists Samuel (Chad Krowchuk) and Vincent (Daniel Janks), and photographer Clive (Jonathan Pienaar) as they stake out a dead-end assignment. Waiting outside of a suburban house for a woman who is alleged to have had an affair with a government minister, all three soon realize they don’t know if they’re in front of the right house or if they have even identified the right girl. Since Samuel is told by his editors not to leave without a story, and Vincent and Clive are told not to leave before Samuel does, the three settle in for a long waiting period until they decide to make the story up themselves.
