Momentum Pictures Acquires Luke Wilson Western ‘Outlaws & Angels’

Momentum Pictures acquired all distribution rights to “Outlaws & Angels,” starring Luke Wilson, Chad Michael Murray, Teri Polo and Francesca Eastwood. The twisted and bloody revenge tale is written and directed by J.T. Mollner and produced by Rosanne Korenberg, Chris Ivan Cevic and Luke Daniels.

Set in the Old West, the film tells the story of Henry, a seasoned outlaw leading his gang of killers and bandits into a high stakes bank heist. Unfortunately, things get bloody, and they are forced to kill a U.S. Marshall in the process. With one of the largest bounties in the history of the American West on their heads, they make their way south through dangerous terrain and surprises. 

“‘Outlaws & Angels’ captures all of the intense action and drama of a classic western, while simultaneously delivering an enigmatic, captivating story where everything and everyone may not be what they seem,” said President of Momentum Pictures Berry Meyerowitz. “J.T.’s film is led by an assembly of incredible performances and we are excited to share this film with audiences who will find themselves at the edge of their seats.” 

The deal was brokered by by Andre Relis of VMI Worldwide on behalf of the filmmakers, and by Jessica Labi and Larry Greenberg for Momentum Pictures.
