New Roman Polanski Documentary to Premiere Tonight in Zurich

New Roman Polanski Documentary to Premiere Tonight in Zurich

A new doc on Roman Polanski, “Roman Polanski: A Film Memoir,” is set to world premiere at the Zurich Film Festival, currently underway until October 2.

Polanski arrived today in the Swiss city to pick up the event’s Lifetime Achievement award. [Two years ago, he was arrested en route to that very event.]

The feature-length doc, helmed by Laurent Bouzereau, features Polanski talking to his friend, producer Andrew Braunsberg, about his childhood, his career, Sharon Tate and the controversy surrounding his arrest.

Braunsberg’s producing credits Polanski’s “The Tenant,” “Macbeth” and “What?” and Hal Ashby’s “Being There.” Bouzereau is a veteran “making of” documentarian.
