Parker Posey and Jamie Blackley Will Help Woody Allen Solve a Murder

While “Magic in the Moonlight” rolls out in select cities this weekend, director Woody Allen is already at work on his next project, a college-set murder mystery starring Joaquin Phoenix and “Moonlight” muse Emma Stone.

Adding to that promising two-hander, Parker Posey and Jamie Blackley (“The Fifth Estate,” Snow White and the Huntsman”) are now set to star in Allen’s latest.

Given how tight-lipped Allen prefers to keep his developing projects, details are scant. In typical Allen fashion, we may not have a sense of these roles until the film hits next year. Patience will be a virtue, so, in the meantime, maybe you’ll want to catch up with however many of his films you’ve yet to see? There are certainly worse ways to quell that wait.
