Sundance Exclusive: Ominous Teaser for Vampire Western ‘A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night’

Billed at the “first Iranian Vampire Western” (we don’t doubt it), Ana Lily Amirpour’s debut feature “A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night” premieres Jan. 19 in the NEXT section at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, and Indiewire has the first look at the film.

Here’s the official synopsis per Sundance:

Strange things are afoot in Bad City. The Iranian ghost town, home to prostitutes, junkies, pimps and other sordid souls, is a bastion of depravity and hopelessness where a lonely vampire stalks its most unsavory inhabitants. But when boy meets girl, an unusual love story begins to blossom… blood red.
