Sundance is a time for film premieres and hope for emerging filmmakers, but it’s also a time for celebrities, dinners, and parties. With that in mind, The Next Generation Filmmaker Series held dinner parties at 501 on Main, where Patron’s XO Café and Red Bull flowed while press met with the likes of Philip Seymour Hoffman (“God’s Pocket”), Anna Kendrick (“Happy Christmas”), John Lithgow (“Love Is Strange”) and more. All films were presented by the Next Generation Filmmaker Series, while Brooks Brothers sponsored John Slattery’s “God’s Pocket” and Richard Ayoade’s “The Double.” Some of the highlights are below:
