Shortly after the reveal that it will have its world premiere as the Closing Night selection of DOC NYC next month, Michel Gondry’s “Is The Man Who Is Tall Happy?” has been snapped up for North American distribution by Sundance Selects. The animated documentary features conversations with philosopher Noam Chomsky, whose words and ideas are brought to life through illustrations Gondry drew himself.
Jonathan Sehring, President of Sundance Selects/IFC Films, said: “This film is another genius creation from Michel Gondry, whose collaboration with the legendary Noam Chomsky has resulted a film that is both intellectually challenging and creatively brilliant. Chomsky has never discussed his work in such a unique and memorable way.”
