“Ghost Team” tells the story of a dysfunctional team of ghost hunters, led by paranormal-obsessed Louis (Heder), who get in over their heads when they embark on a investigation into the beyond at an abandoned farm.
“When you pair a script this hilarious with a cast this funny, and bring talent like Oliver Irving to the table, it’s really a no-brainer for us,” said Paul Davidson, The Orchard’s SVP of Film and TV. “We’re thrilled to be involved with ‘Ghost Team’ at this early stage and bring it to audiences next year.”
“Ghost Team” is set to be released at the end of 2016, adding to The Orchard’s slate of recently acquired films “Demon” and “Southbound.” The Orchard previously released “Nasty Baby,” “The Overnight,” “Digging for Fire” and “Cartel Land” this year.
